Examples like that gif are actualy why it can feel baffeling how the creation of the Sentinel didn't seem to have any major impact on the rest of Earth in the X-men universes beyond being used exclusively to inefficiently fight human sized people with super powers.

Considering how much merch has been produced, it's likely the driving force here aswell.

So it might be better if many kids or child at heart adults will buy those Blackbird toys or awkward Wolverine claws.

There was a really short period where SHIELD used Sentinel tech for it's original purpose: super-cops.

Not gonna lie, never really cared much for Storm's OG costume, but that shot makes it look fucking amazing.

If the adaptation of Lifedeath is worth even half the comicbooks it's based on, we have a very poignant couple of episodes to look forward to.

Not really. Its 2024, not 1992. Considering these are streaming and not on network television, that doesnt matter nor would make sense for them. And lets be real, this is a show written for fans whom are now adults 30+ with responsibilities and lives. Dropping midweek and allowing people to watch at their leisure is just how television works in modern times. I dont see what holding the show off till Sat morning would accomplish

Well I"M A BUSY ADULT who can't watch it till Saturday mornings anyways, and saying it's for adults is kind of insulting for kids who are completely capable of enjoying mature content like the original series and Batman: The Animated Series. The franchise NEEDS new fans, and what better way than to let kids await each new episode dropping on Saturday mornings?

Kids dont watch content like that anymore. They have their own tablets, phones, streaming accounts and stream at their leisure too. They are very much in tune with knowing how to find and watch online content. For something streaming only, it makes zero sense to maintain a dated release strategy from 30 years ago. Again, what purpose does that really serve?

When I was a kid it was Sunday mornings, in my country at least.
