Cable, Domino, Canonball, Warpath, Rictor, Feral, and Deadpool wouldn't be a bad line-up for a team.

They cameo'd some of them in that Mutant detention camp episode. so it's not like they'd need to do a full backstory even

It's weird, wasn't there a time period in the comics when Cyke really DIDn't know about Havok?

So Brad Winderbaum pretty much confirmed there will be other x-teams showing up on X-Men '97.
He also mentioned Val Cooper so i think X-Factor is a given.

In addition to other teams, which will be great, I'd also be really interested to see a further exploration of the pre-Night of the Sentinels history of the X-men in-universe! We got a few tantalizing glimpses in the original show (the episode 'Cold Comfort' particularly springs to mind) and I'd love to see more along those lines. I kinda wonder if the episode where Jubilee relives the X-men's 'greatest adventures' delves into this time period at all, even though I guess realistically it will mostly be a throwback to classic episodes.

I suppose this could be one way to introduce Kitty Pryde to the show's canon...

I think Scott was an amnesiac for a while, he didn't remember anything before the orphanage.

Or he had been told he was the only survivor of the crash, it depends on the telling/current retcon.
