Seems like they're going for a less fanciful interpretation of the characters this time around. Two face's scarred side is usually blue or olive green, but this version has the same all-around skin tone.

I read on Reddit that he got fired from the Witcher for being a Joss Whedon-esque mean boss, but I don't know how much of that is conjecture or just an all-white writers' room scapegoating the only black guy on the payroll.

Yikes. Whatever the reason this is an unfortunate, bad look generally speaking with the premiere around the corner. Wow.

It's unlikely to impact the reception/viewership of the revival season though, given that the majority of the target audience both young and old will likely not be aware of this happening or who the person was in first place.

Even in the age of the internet, most people don't pay attention to things going on behind the scenes of their favored media products, unless it actualy causes the cancelation or delay of it, or it's a really big scandal involving someone even casual audience knows about.

The bigger hurdle is still what ever they know the show exist, are interested in seeing it (and seeing it through rather than jump off early) and have the Disney+ accounts to access it in a way that it actualy matters for Disney/Marvel.

In general it's often interesting to see concept art and character design studios for video games, movies, shows, etc. and notice the little details.

For what it’s worth, DeMayo did have a full frontal that was floating around.

I saw it with my own eyes too. There were some Emma fans on Twitter that were really mad at him. I was afraid they might send the pic to Disney executives. Of course his firing may not have anything to do with that at all. Maybe he harassed someone at the office? We may never know. I do hope we find out the reason. Hope this doesn’t hurt the show.
