Think of it. The executive producer tweeted a pic of a Jean/Phoenix tat on his arm. Also, after I tweeted him the message below, he followed me. Like, the writing is on the wall.

Please make sure to write a strong and competent Jean. She's gotten too much shit b/c of the old show, which was not faithful to how her character was/is portrayed in the comic books. Other than that, here's to a successful relaunch!

I think it's safe to say that he's a Jean fan. He's also running the show. I plan on making as much of her history and legacy available to him as possible.

They had to outsource to a new animation studio for the last season because the previous one had shut down. They tried to do new, simpler designs to make it easier on the studio. It was supposed to look like this!
