Not quite as convoluted as the burial of Megas XLR over at Cartoon Network (a WB subsidiary). That one, despite being successful, got bundled with a bunch of garbage shows and blamed for revenue losses. Because of what the claimed to the IRS, it is illegal for them to even attempt to make a single penny off of it. All because the show won a fan vote over a few execs faves, and because the show runners has half of season 2 in the bag when the execs tried to cancel it after the first season.

People in corner offices are such snowflakes.

It does go to illustrate how DC animation is such a cluster, as those are the same people likely still in charge even now.

I think, rather than pile on and add to any perception of victimhood you might harbor, I’d simply point out that there’s still plenty in the MCU for straight white males who feel that everything is pandering to other demographics now. They didn’t sideline Cap and Tony because they were straight white males, by the way, they did it because of A) their contracts and B) their arcs had run their course. But mostly I’d wager because of their contracts being up, and also Chris Evans at least had been vocal about being done with Cap leading up to Endgame.

I'm pretty sure Downey also said he was done, and apparently Feige has admitted that he overworked actors and pointed out at these two in particular (And I think Hemsworth too), so yeah, they just are done with MCU lol.

I also heard Elizabeth Olsen will be taking a break, 'cause she did a lot lately too.

The rights were all over the place," Lewald said during a recent appearance at Pennsylvania's Steel City convention. "I think a secondary person had the rights to the music, so it was a negotiation for them. Obviously, you can't do the new show without that song."

If I recall correctly, in The Multiverse of Madness it was credited as "X-Men 97 theme" which makes me think some remixing will be happening, however I'm not really expecting any dramatic departures from the original.
