Top 10 characters you want to see appear in XTAS revival

90s X-Men: The Animated Series fans unite!

With the exciting news of the upcoming revival, what characters who did NOT appear in the original (either because they hadn't been created yet or the writers simply didn't use them) do you want to see in the new show?

My wishlist:

1. Phantazia - Duh.

2. Thumbelina - Of all the MLF ladies to cameo, we get STROBE?!

3 Siena Blaze - I'm a little surprised she and Shinobi never appeared since they were so big at the time.

4. Briquette - Hell's Belles represent!

5. Lorelei - Vertigo needs a BFF.

6. Prism - Marauders maybe?

7. Tempo - See Thumbelina.

8. Cylla Markham - I really want to see the Reavers come back since Lady Deathstrike's 2-parter was great.

9. Destiny - Duh.

10. Dragoness - See Tempo.

*2-parter based on UXF vol 1, The Apocalypse Solution; at the end Fantomex pulls the trigger but Archangel blocks the shot with his wing, and they take Evan back to the school with them… it is a cartoon after all

I want these characters to stand on their own two feet and sink or swim based on audience reception rather than using this legacy show to condition audiences to like these new characters.

All of the characters in the original run. Other than that i'm just waiting to see the animation style before i get too excited but i've already done like 80 laps in my mind.

One of the nice things about this being a continuation is that so much "classic" ground has already been covered. So, they can go some other places.

1) Cassandra Nova- I'm not the hugest Morrison fan, but she's a decent villain. And if they're really going to go to Shi'ar space to retrieve Xavier as their first storyline, it would work to have a mummudrai as the villain. Maybe have her recur throughout the first season.

2) Northstar- He's one of the last major X-Men recruited before the start of the "everyone's an X-Man" era and a landmark one for LGBT representation. And he's already appeared on the show alongside the rest of Alpha Flight. So, let's see Jean-Paul get a guest star ep of his own.

3) Synch- I would like to see a lot of Gen. X members appear, but I don't know how Disney+ standards and practices feels about body horror powers like Chamber's, Skin's or Husk's. So, I'm going to hedge this choice based on his recent elevated status and his relatively easy to depict synchronous aura power.

4) Sentinel X- Okay, so Jubilee's probably going to be about 16 in this show. So, she's not likely to adopt lil' Shogo anytime soon. But, there could be an episode where future Shogo comes back (ironically dressed like a robot that tried to kill her in the first episode of the original show) and shows Jubilee that she has a future worth looking forward to.

5) Warpath- Other than Forge, we've rarely seen any of the Native American characters in the old show. So, maybe have Jimmy appear as a guest star. Maybe have it start with Jimmy coming after Xavier because he blames him for John's death (there's still a lot of the X-Men's past we haven't seen) only to give up his vendetta at the end.

6) Destiny- Another relatively easy way to get some LGBT representation in there. Just maybe show that Mystique isn't as solitary as she claimed in "Bloodlines" by showing her with Irene. Plus, since I was a big X-Treme X-Men fan back in the day, maybe they could do a little something with the Destiny's Diaries plotline.

7) Shadowcat- She never made it onto the old show for what was essentially a bogus reason. The failure of "Pryde of the X-Men" meant no Kitty Pryde on the show. Now that it isn't hanging over the show's head 30 years later, let's see a Kitty appearance.

8) Emplate- They'd maybe have to play a bit coy with the whole "sucking bone marrow" thing, but he'd work really well if they wanted to do a horror-tinged episode considering he's kind of a vampire riff. And that's without even getting into all the St. Croix family stuff.

9) Sunspot- Okay, I don't have a big explanation for this one except "Roberto can be fun". I liked that storyline where he bought AIM and turned it into an Avengers thing. Oh, and some Latino representation.

10) Vanisher- I just thought it would be fun to see them take a minor villain from the X-Men's earliest years and revamp them into something more interesting and threatening. It was going to be either Vanisher or Mesmero and X-Men Evolution already did it with Mesmero.
