Now I just imagine Nature Girl and Curse gets on the level of the Phoenix Five just to justify the X-Men and Avengers needing to team-up to stop them .

She’ll use her nature powers to convince the Phoenix that she’s right and it moves out of Echo and into her. And then it decides to give Curse a powerup because….reasons.

Y'all complained about this a lot, made me decide to take a look 'cause it sounded like a hilariously bad story, and now that I read it, I'm disappointed, it's not even that terrible.

For reference, I was expecting something like All Star Batman And Robin .

Though now that I mention it, I guess Nature Girl's personality in this is comparable with BatMiller™ from ASBAR.

But yeah, I guess this is how bad this story is, it somehow disappoints even when I expected it to be disappointing, by not being disappointing enough.

It’s funny that this is the same writer that made me want to see more of the high evolutionary and also made me want to know more about a talking fungus. I didn’t hate this as much as most it seems, but I won’t argue that it’s good, especially after this issue.

It's the same writer being asked by editorial to produce a weekly comic to promote the new Infinite Comics initiative, probably for no additional pay. In my industry we say "Speed, quality or cost - pick two" (it's more like one though).
