How do you know if an old series had annual(s)?

I collect back issues, I organize them using comics.org, but it does not list annuals. They are like separate in their database it's real hard to figure out.

If you are using comics.org just do a search of the title you are looking for and add the word annual to the search-so if you are looking to do Action Comics, search for Action Comics Annual. If there are annuals, t will then list all the annuals for that title and if nothing comes up, there are no annuals.
