I like very much Kirby101’s cover with Batman and Sherlock Holmes but… the Engelhart Humperdinck’s one with Groo and Conan is so unlikely… it fits nicely the subject.

MRP's cover was one of my favorite comics of that year.

SquirrelMan -- a classic cover that perfectly fits this topic.

A very close second was seismic-2's cover --also perfect for this topic.

    Ravin' Ray

But there were some other great ones too.
I think restorative nostalgia is the number one issue with comic book fans.
A fine distinction between two types of Nostalgia:

Reflective Nostalgia allows us to savor our memories but accepts that they are in the past
Restorative Nostalgia pushes back against the here and now, keeping us stuck trying to relive our glory days.

    Time to tally the votes!

1 vote each: Ajax_X, Captain Europe, Major Hoy, nx01a, seismic-2, Shalla Bal, Tami, Zelena
2 votes each: Englehart Humperdinck, foxley, Iron Maiden, Kirby101, Ravin' Ray, Riv86672

And in two way tie with three votes each---MRP and SquirrelMan!

Could someone who hasn't voted swing by and break the tie? Thanks!

    Tough choice, though!
