I'd like to see a revisitation of this comic book series.
I'd also like for there to be a filmed version, preferably a Disney+ series.
I'm surprised that it hasn't been revived yet.

It'd be awsome as a series, as long as it's taken seriously that everybody is game for dying, and they don't play favorites. I'm not sure if there aren't some copyright issues that may hinder the project, though.
Peace
I found this 2014 article…

Really loved that series. Would be interesting to see a return to the concept.
Although I didn't know about the copyright issues mentioned (although it seems to be of 2014, maybe it's been settled?)
As I said, I knew there were some issues. Don't know if it's been solved.
Peace
The concept was cool. Gain superpowers to fight aliens but these powers would eventually kill you.
Some of us wait, some of us act.
even an animated treatment, an ongoing series. would be intriguing, if these legal matters were settled.
I'd be interested. Never had the chance to read their series, but I still remember their appearance in Marvel Age Annual #3 (1987):
Back during the post-Civil War era I was hoping that the Initiative team, The Order, would reveal that they had received their powers from the 616 version of Dr. Kimmo Tuolema. That was the scientist that created the Morituri effect. I think it would have been a logical way to bring the concept into the mainstream MU.
