Default SW coming back to Dark Horse...sort of.

According to some other sources this mainly concerns the younger readers line that IDW apparently lost the license to recently.

    Glad for Dark Horse .

I guess they might pick up High Republic Adventures?

So what they are saying is that they are, for sure, going to bring back the pre-Disney continuity!

I wonder why IDW didn't want to do these anymore, perhaps the fee was too high?

I'm not sure if it was IDW or Disney.

Dark Horse I'm sure wants their biggest franchise back. Remember, Marvel took like three of their major sources of revenue. SW, Aliens, and Predator. So they may have just put in a better bid or something. I have no idea how the kid's books are doing. So this may have just been IDW letting go of a loss.

If the price is right it's a great move for Dark Horse, it just makes me think that the price was probably not right as why else give it up?

That would be awesome, actually. We need more kid's books out there.

IDW has lost a lot of IPs recently.

I think several have been reprinted by Marvel for the Epic Collection series if you're looking for the latest ones.
