I'm getting the feeling that Ezra will die in the finale. That 'I'm getting the feeling that I'm going home after all' line to end this episode is a red flag. Still really enjoying this even if I question some of Thrawn's moves.

Baylon Skoll will "bail on" you. Destiny fulfilled, I guess. At this point, what could be the reveal for what voices he's listening to. Anything would seem to come out of left field unless you're familiar with all the other lore. Unless the reveal is just a setup for the next thing. (which won't be possible with Baylon unless they recast) Then you can leave people excited and guessing I suppose. Would it be satisfying for any of this to actually get wrapped up by the end or is this all set up?

By the way does anyone feel Ahsoka is more happy in live action than she was in animation.

The show is too boring for them to kill the one person that makes it a little less boring, however I wouldn't mind them going there just to see how the fanbase reacts to it

Interesting that Thrawn didn't deploy Chimera or it's TIEs, just the two troop transports/gunships and even withdrew those, instead using Eye of Sion and it's fighters on Ashoka's ship.

Kind of fits with the early novels that Thrawn used depleted Imperial resources very carefully since she was short on several (Also his need for a clone army in those books). Here he's even more depleted and the TIES, usually plentiful and cannon fodder in the movies, are actually probably valuable.

Gideon on the other hand just kind of went nuts with the stuff, although in his case he had more resources.

Thrawn getting his due with the tactical highlights this episode. Ahsoka continuing to show that she has reconciled her feelings about Anakin and the legacy he left her as her master. You can see the writing perspective change since the World between Worlds training and her being more adventurous and thinking out of the box tacitly. The growth of her embracing her training again and the holovids Anakin left her. I like that they are following through there in character development from the stoic, guarded character before seeing Anakin again. I think they are being consistent with the value of the little resources they have access to here. You see it visually with the state and condition of the Chimera itself and the "homemade" looking repairs. You see it with the "used" looking repairs on Stormtrooper armor etc. They dont have a steady supply of recruits. They got by with what came with them and didn't die in the crossing and what they managed to scrape together in the years they were waiting for rescue.

Baelen just dumping Shin like that to what he had to know was failure was weird. They need to connect that thread to his end goal a bit better. Where is the mysterious "power"? Its already an interesting piece but I think it could do with more tangible connection. Some signs to the audience that he has a map, or a clue, or is somehow talking to whatever it is by now.

Ezra trying to use force martial arts instead of just taking his lightsaber back was interesting. I can see him just building another one. He's now reunited with the expert in Jedi sabers so maybe he can whip it up with a piece of ore from this galaxy on the ship.

One thing I would kind of like to see but is probably too big for this show. Is there any type of largescale intergalactic government in this galaxy? If so what is it like? That would be interesting. In all this time almost, a decade did Thrawns people ever meet up with any of them. The Mothers should certainly know of it.
