Agreed. all of them at least have PTSD after living with a battle after battle but their powers also can be a reason for their mental health poblems.

Scott can be obssesive with controlling his powers, Rogue has or had intimacy issues for a long time, Wolverine had amnesia, Storm is claustrophobic, Lorna has changes of humor that could be seen as a bipolar disorder because of her powers along with PTSD and Survivors guilt for surviving Genosha, Magneto has PTSD/Survivors guilt for WWII but also his powers mess his his mental balance when he uses them at their highter level.

I also agree you can built great stories around those issues

All of them. Storm in particular there must be points where she doesn't know what she is feeling or what influence the environment is having. At one point Claremont seemed like he was going to delve deeper in how the psionic emotional influence can go both ways.

Most of them probably have had PTSD. Many have had severe depression. Plenty have been suicidal. Among the villains there are probably multiple who would be diagnosed as sociopaths or psychopaths, maybe even among the heroes. Legion has a form of multiple personality disorder, and he's not the only one.

To talk about Magik, she clearly suffered a pretty bad case of PTSD from her time in Limbo. This was manifested in her freezing when S'ym first attacked the mansion because of the memory of how he beat her when she was a child and is very similar to Samus Aran's PTSD reaction to Ridley in the Metroid manga and Metroid Other M except it makes more sense than in Other M. She displayed suicidal thoughts as a result of severe depression and self-hate on multiple occasions, even asking another X-Man to kill her for no other reason than hating herself. Her Darkchild persona could also be taken as a form of alternate personality disorder. On Krakoa she seems to have finally worked past all that trauma and self-hate and seems happy for the first time since she was s little kid, but these traumas are not going to just disappear.

Not all soldiers that go through war have PTSD so I'm sure the same applies to the X-Men.

Storm has claustrophobia. Siryn is an alcoholic.

Typhoid Mary also has dissociative identity disorder. I think she's one of the more interesting mutant characters as she is not explicitly tied to the X-franchise, being an opponent of Daredevil and occasional enforcer for the Kingpin.

Many of them strong with mental health issues.. Polaris issues have been more explicit but Karma has trauma from her assault, body being posssedd etc, , Storm has ptsd from being buried alive, Monet ( from being in the Penny form), Ev has some after being resurrected, I would assume Bobby has issues , as well as Warren for being transformed into Archangel, Bishop and Cable from being from dystopian futures, I would also wager most Telepaths and Empaths have issues because of their powers esp before the get a hang of them..

OH Lionel Jefferies had mental health struggles.

Professor X suffers from dissociative identity disorder, as seen with him suppressing this personality of his that is unhinged and evil. Then of course there was Onslaught.

Jean’s whole backstory is about her dealing with PTSD.

Also wolverine and gambit might be sex addicts. And scarlet witch. I don't know what's her diagnosis but she's all kinds of messed up.
