Default Zendaya's "MJ": Future as a Comics Character?

So, should the Zendaya movie character, Michelle "MJ" Jones, become a supporting character in the Spider-Man comics series?

If so, who should be a supporting character for?

    Peter?
    Miles
    Ben?
    Gwen?
    (on her world or 616?)
    ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ ++++++

There's an argument to be made that Michelle Jones’ emo-snarky character could be a relatively easy fit for Miles who is still in high school.
In comparison, the character would presumably have to be rebooted at least slightly to fit in better with the social worlds of adult Peter, as well as Ben Reilly.
Apart from that, if Michelle were placed more directly as a supporting character of Gwen Stacy, that would have interesting implications for Gwen’s college world (as well as being a refugee of her home Earth).

The problem is this character uses the "MJ" nickname that is so closely associated with Mary Jane. She certainly isn't going to work as a supporting character for comics Peter. Or for Gwen (since Gwen also has her own Mary Jane in her supporting cast).

(There really should be a "none of the above" option. She is massively underdeveloped in the MCU. Disassociating her from Mary Jane sounds like nothing but trouble. And trying to bring MCU characters into the comics has never really worked.)

Not w/ that name.MJ is and always will be a Spider-man Peter character and won't last long anywhere else.
That and both Mary and Jane and Michelle are Peter characters in comics, and the MCU version is also Peter

And w/ how little development she has, I'll take the unmentioned none of the above option

Sean pop up in Ahmed's run for Miles. He basically fulfills the MCU Flash role but better. So I'd do the same with Michelle but I feel like Barbara from Bendis's run fills her role so I'd just use her instead.

Eh, she's MJ the producers decided to pretend for a while that she's not MJ, there's little point to bring an MJ counterpart to the comics when MJ is alive and dating Peter.

Plus, EmJay is already in 616, we don't want 616 to have too many MJs, do we? .

I'm not exactly opposed to it, but again, I don't see the point of bothering, and if they bother, really don't see why she should be around either Peter or Gwen, since they have MJs, Miles would likely sound like the most fitting choice, and if she's adapted to not be a love interest, and in that case she could be a supporting character for Ben, but either way, whatever.

I doubt there are plans to import or create a Neo-MJ in comics, nor do I see it as likely. But who knows?

Since she is a female minority character, Marvel will try and find a non Peter place for her ( she could even become a super heroine). The most recent example is Cindy Moon. Does it mean it will be successful? No look at Felicia Hardy without Spider-Man ( Ben Reilly included), but trust me they will try.

well let's see, in Peter's life, Glory hasn't been around lately, and Lilly Hollister is Queen Cat now (where is she?)... michelle gonzales not around...
scarcely few minority women in Peter's social circles now...

If they eventually do an MJ Into The MJ-Verse series then MCU MJ can appear as one of the multiverse MJ's.

They totally should do an "Into the MJ-Verse" series.

It would be a much more fun concept than the so lazy it's unbelievable Gwenverse with "Gwen" cosplaying as different superheroes. At least with MJ, there are already some pre-established and distinguished alt universe personalities like the MC2 and Renew Your Vows Mom Jays, Spider-Man: India's Meera Jain, the lesbian Spider-Woman MJ and Spider-Ham's Mary Jane Waterbuffalo.

Please no more multiverse stuff, leave MJ alone

A cool team up w/ the existing ones maybe but not the Gwen/Miles(what if) concept

Felicia's book sold decently and got good reviews. Not sure if that's a good example.

She dipped hard in between for a few months and only recently picked back up

And had two relaunches as well, so 2 number ones, etc. And the first series was using the classic "have big members from the universe be a part of it to boost sales" like they are doing w/ shang chi solo.

Cat(and others like her) can do a solo if they have a writer like Jed Mckay w/ good art.

They can sustain a solo under good conditions, but I wouldn't clasify them as solo characters but having solo potential

According to the sales, her book did not reach the numbers that it should have ( based on critical acclaim). If it would have they would be having her in a new solo series instead of popping up with Peter, Ben and even in a one shot with MJ.
