Jax just left, seemingly because he and Carly aren't friends anymore over the whole Nina thing. He promised to be back though, which IMO could mean recast but we'll see. Jax has had extended leaves before.

I'm glad they've kept Mac as the ultimate good guy. He's tough enough to be in law enforcement but has a wonderful soft side.

I liked that Felicia mentioned how he had raised Robert's daughter and her daughters. He and Robin butted heads when she was a teen but I believe she has since realized what an incredible surrogate father he was to her.

Nothing against Ally Mills - she's a great actress who is doing what is written on the page. But if Robin Mattson wasn't coming back, they should've left Heather locked up. I just can't buy anyone else in that role.

I could buy Denise Crosby as Heather. Seems she and Ally Mills should have flipped roles. Either the casting agent didn't see it, or Crosby has limited availability and Mills didn't.
