- Psylocke (Invisible Woman role w/ full blown TK as well as TP when focused into psychic knife)
- Bishop (The Thing role, leaning into his ability to absorb all types of energy and rechannel it but also augmenting his durability and strength, perhaps as a secondary mutation)
- Gambit (The Human Torch role; 'nuff said)

In terms of most importance, it would be Jean, Storm, Wolverine, and Cyclops.

In terms of direct FF parallels, it would be Jean as a swap for Sue, Xavier or Hank as a swap for Reed, Bobby as a swap for Johnny, and Logan or Piotr as a swap for Ben.
