I know that WW84 was not as divisive or as "hated" as something like Batman V Superman or that Star Wars film directed by Rian Johnson, but maybe delaying the second WW sequel will help people forget about WW84 and be more receptive to another WW adventure. Maybe.

If the movie comes out in 2024, then they should not have an excuse to have a great script to go with it.

I certainly hope so. And even though writing a great script is easier said than done (and I imagine nobody sets out to purposely write a bad one), I do hope that Jenkins and all the parties involved in WW3 truly take a good look at WW84 and avoid the mistakes that plagued that sequel.
