I feel like that's setting himself up for irrelevancy because people only care about Talia having one kid. Slade has enough kids.

I think it is beyond stupid, but Williamson is probably just picking up the plots Priest introduced. In Priest's Deathstroke book he retconned it where Deathstroke and Talia in the past before she was involved with Bruce slept together and Deathstroke was the one Talia originally wanted to have a kid with that would rule the world or something. This Respawn character being a little older than Damian fits with that, and now Williamson is doing some first ever meeting between Bruce and Deathstroke in the past that I would bet probably involved Talia in some way.

Sounds like eventually it will be revealed that it was actually Talia, who killed Ra's.

I would not be surprised about it.

Slade just looks excited to have Respawn, like he just figured out "Oh man I got myself a Robin"

Slade: Batman lost his last Robin and I obtained one.

Feels like he has mostly been drawn as an older teen. I just think it is beyond obvious he is going to be Deahstroke and Talia's kid at this point. The story keeps reinforcing it with how they are positioning Bruce/Damian against Deathstroke/Respawn and are involving Talia in it.

He would be one HALF OLDER BROTHER.. Anyway. Still better than make Athanasia canon.

I'd hate for Respawn to be Talia's kid because that would just make her to be a even worse mom, leaving behind 2 different kids.

The main reason I don't think Respawn is Grant is that he does not matter enough to Damian that there was a need for his identity to be a huge mystery for so many issues of Robin.

Damian is the main character of Robin, the reveal of his main antagonist identity should have major consequences going forward I don't see Grant being that.
