Yeah, it would be difficult to balance
With how much Cyke is a more physical character, he'd be more fitting to be a Ryu-like character, it's even how Capcom made him, Storm could have physical moves since she's a good fighter, but generally would be better to focus on her elemental powers.
I think of Cyke as more of a tactician than a physical guy. I have a hard time thinking interesting physical moves for him to use.

Good roster but I feel a few of the bigger names should have been saved for the DLC. Like Doom or Thanos

    Speaking of Mutants....

X-Statix! You could do a roster of just X-Statix characters.
    Mister Sensitive, Anarchist,
Dead Girl, Katie Sawyer, Phatty, The A, Vivisector
Battering Ram, Bloke, Cupric, El Guapo, Henrietta Hunter, Gin Genie, Lacuna, La Nuit, Ostinato, Phat, Plazm, Saint Anna, Sluk, Spike, U-Go Girl, Venus Dee Milo, Vulpine, Zeitgeist,

Farm Team: Anti-Matter , Sycamore, Washout, Mant, Lightning Bug, Corkscrew

O-force: Overkill, Obituary, Ocean, Ocelot, Ooze, Orbit,

Euro-trash: Blind Ali, Miz Tree, Oxford Blue, Surrender Monkey, the Wall

Well... there's more options than that, but this would be a nice start.

Then probably don't buy it for a single game.

Cyke is a pretty good fighter on top of his powers, him getting up-close and personal isn't that far fetched.

Of course, he should be more of a zoner, but every character needs normals, and Cyke's muscles ain't for show lol.

Yeah, and here's the problem, if the person wants to play X-Men vs Street Fighter, but doesn't want to buy a Saturn (Since it has the best version) because of the lack of interest in the other games, then, without piracy, playing the game at all becomes a headache, and again, hard to play with other people, and no online doesn't help.

So yeah, the lack of re-releases is a problem to play this game, and while there are ways to emulate the game, the fact that you have to do that instead of just buying and playing shows how Capcom and Marvel screwed that up.

Yeah, but having normals isn't the same as being a Ryu like character. Cyclops throwing a punch or a kick is fine, him throwing a shoryuken or a Tatsumaki is a step to far.

The only thing that's pushing it is a tatsumaki, which Capcom solved by making him do a short hop that does one kick in the air and another after landing, a shoryuken is just a jumping uppercut, anyone can do that, and hell, Capcom did make him do that, but it also has him throwing some optic blasts during it, but if you want to be specific, a DP doesn't even have to be a shoryuken, it just have to be a move with I-frames that doesn't move too much and has invincibility, so even if a jumping uppercut was too much, he could have something else that does the DP function.

    Fair points.

I just think the Storm fits the playstyle better.
