Make a Marvel Fighterz Roster

So I recently watched a video speculating on one a roster could be for a One Piece Game in the vein of Dragonball Fighterz. And I thought it'd be a fun exercise to do the same for Fighterz.

Like Fighterz, the game will have a 24 character base roster, and 3 seasons of DLC with 6 characters each, like so:

Some thoughts on how the various characters would play. For the characters I have them for, at least

Base Roster
1. An all-rounder meant to be picked up and played by beginners
2. good for up close brawling but the Shield opens up the potential for long range combos. It is possible for him to lose the shield and have to collect it, but he's still playable without it.
3. Good at all ranges. Thrown hammer can be lost, like Cap, but unlike Cap, Thor can recall it because his moveset is very badly gimped without Mjolnir.
4. Has the strongest basic moves in the game by a wide margin, but are lacking when it comes to combo strings.
5. Moveset is built around absorbing energy. Specialty is an install super that transforms her into Binary
6. Zoner who uses mystical bullshit to keep the foe away
7. I'd incorporate the energy absorbtion aspect of the film suit as a combo escape measure
8.
9. A character built on moveset. His strongest moves start at longrange and end in close range. Also has customized taunts

13. Moveset would be designed as an emulation of Captain America, though he can only use a shield in special moves

Calling back Mjolnir itself could be a way to zone, but with it coming from behind the opponent.

Honestly was just weird how Infinite basically made him into "claw guy" without his other stuff lol.

That sounds like a much shittier Dark Phoenix from MvC3, and Dark Phoenix itself could be countered by players who know of her (Aside from killing her soon after she transforms, Jean can be snapped in before she gets 5 bars), being a one hit point wonder would also mean he gets killed by any sort of zoning unless he gains immunity to chip damage (Or if the game doesn't have chip kills, which modern fighters may have).

Either way, if a game like that were to happen without Capcom being the one to make it, and assuming we're talking about Arcsys, I would just hope they aren't as lazy as they were with DBFZ, since DBFZ has too many characters having the same-ish playstyle, which's baffling if you know the kind of weird movesets Arcsys comes up with, and while DB characters don't really fight that differently from each other, it would be bizarre if Spidey and Hulk played similarly lol.

Hell, characters like Ben tend to be "slow with big normals", and to compensate for that they have armor, but that armor would be useless if he's dying in one hit lol.

So yeah, the idea itself is fine, he just needs to survive to take more hits for the gimmick to be worth it if a player tries to make a team where that's used, specially if the idea is to use his "never quit" attitude only for him to die in literally the very next hit lol.
