I suspect they're saving Peter and Miles' big reunion for the third film. Kinda like how Tony and Steve didn't interact in Infinity War and only met again in Endgame.

While I'm sure Miles with interact with Peter B in some form, I actually think they're setting up another character and making sure they have a major role in the third film.

To be fair, in the toy leak that description comes from the box does say "inspired by Into the Spider-Verse" indicating that it may be an indicator of anything in the film. Though maybe they're just reusing the toy because they haven't changed his design at all.

Honestly though, I'm expecting Peter B. to either have very little screen-time compared to what he got in the first film (most likely similar to Peni Noir and Ham's roles in that movie) or for him not to show up at all. I don't know which one it is but I'm hoping it's the former because I do want to see him again.

Could be. I mean, once they do Miguel, Mayday is the only major Spider-Hero left (no disrespect to fans of other names, but only Miles, Miguel, Spider-Gwen, and Mayday managed to at least somewhat escape Peter's shadow and get an independent fanbase).

I think the voice actor for Peter B. said he was coming back for it, so I think he's in it. I'm not sure how much.
