I guess they wouldn't cast Issa Rae and have her play a white woman (even though Zoe Kravitz voiced normal Mary Jane for, like, two lines).

Also sounds like she's actually having this kid with someone instead of just a sperm donor.

I just find it funny that the first big media appearance of Jessica Drew in years has her already pregnant like it's the most important thing to Spider-Woman now on-top of all the other stuff. But I guess they can't really use any of that other stuff here.

Where'd you get spikes suit from that description lol. The black and red two-toned suit sounds more like the Dave Johnson redesign. Or mayyybe the Kris Anka redesign that she wore when she was pregnant in the comics.

So I'm guessing the movie is going to loosely an amalgam of that Miles/Gwen crossover and the original Spider-Verse, the same way the first movie took queues from Spider-Men.

Inheritors or an evil Spider-Man are the only realistic options. I'm not sure what other villain they can use.

They made Fisk of all people be the main villain in the first movie to begin with, the movies aren't limited by the usual interpretation of the characters or the kind of tech they have, so yeah, could be more than just Morluns or evil Spider-Men.

I checked the article yesterday and I think it mentioned spikes in Jessica's costume, and if it was there it was edited out.
