where is the advance review for all-new x-men also out tomorrow?
Joe Mad is a big name. But "Unreliable" is his middle name. Being an Inhumans fan is like being an American music fan who likes Oasis. It's a very lonely place.
When Fraction left due to scripting disputes, Joe Mad had to redraw everything he did from the first issue on based on Soule's script. At least, that's what they say.
I'm not even sure Mad was that far into drawing issue one, but the guy draws so slowly that you really can't afford to create delays in his schedule.
Oh okay. To me it's funny he draws that slow being that his style is so exaggerated it's usually seen as faster. Not that it's easier because I think cartoonists are usually more skilled than photo-reference guys. But it should free the artist up after they've mastered it.
i'd agree with this. once something is delayed, my interest for it drops completely. especially when it's something new that I just want to try out.
edit. if marvel feels so strongly with the inhumans being their new mutants brand, why not invest in them in the long term? if it takes a hit, keep strong writers and artists on the series until it gets where it needs to. having fraction drop all of his FF/Fantastic Four comics just to spend the time to write the series, then pulling it from him didn't help the brand. especially since the series started off with a big delay.

I went into my comic shop today to pick up my pulls for the week and was browsing and noticed issues 3 and 4 of inhumans was bulging off the shelf. The owner said that pretty much all the regular marvel readers dropped the series after the release shenanigans which is a shame since the series isn't all that bad
