X-Men: Red (Spring 2022)

For what it’s worth, I can confirm that I was told the same as below about X-Men: Red and Immortal X-Men. Additionally, I was told that Immortal X-Men will feature Storm and be a replacement for S.W.O.R.D. We’ll see.

I was told a few more things, but I’ll hold off on sharing for now.

I feel pretty sure Logan remains in X-Force and his solo under Percy most likely, but need to know about my other fave please.

I certainly hope so. It makes sense. The Arakko mutants are a huge cast with massive story potential. Seems like a waste not to do something with them.

As it is so far, no one is going to look back on this era as anything of note in regards to Jean, at best. At worst, some will say it was mostly Ls, highlighted more than anything by a Hickman Twitter meme and Monet putting Jean in her inexperienced place. Oh and quitting X-Force and quitting the council of course.

That said, she hasn't gotten it as bad as Rogue or, as some would mention, Betsy.

Also, if Emma is going back to the diaper after getting like 10 good redesigns in the past year and a half alone, what are they doing? Nostalgia is death.

Betsy is Captain Britain. She did fine by going back to her English/Otherworld roots, as opposed to being just another telepath/telekinetic.

Well, who has red narration boxes? Who wears a red uniform? Who's a character with ties to Emma (QC), Wolverine (X-Force), Wolverine (X-Men), Gambit (Sorta; Excalibur), Prodigy (X-Factor), Mojoworld & X-Corp (Wind Dancer?) Who recently made a small cameo in the last issue of Way of X?

Duggan's X-Men isn't anywhere near substantial enough to earn a spin off book, but if that's what Red is then at least it would be a limited series for just the space mission. I'm hoping for something more interesting, both in concept and creative team.

Also, I love Emma's New X-Men outfit, it's iconic and set the tone for how Emma should always look as a member of a team. I do hope she changes her look consistently throughout whichever book she ends up in, she should be like Wasp in that way and her recent guest appearances have all used unique looks so hopefully they keep that up.

I’d personally enjoy it, but I’d imagine this forum and the subreddit would have a meltdown over it. They should bring in every red themed X-character as well, there’s Omega Red, any others besides him?

That would actually be much more interesting. Wanda finally moving into the X-Men's sphere after nearly 60 years as an Avenger and committing to her mutant identity would be very big development for her character growth.
