I can’t share more than what I’ve already shared (i.e., reportedly Storm will be in Immortal X-Men, which is replacing S.W.O.R.D.), but things are looking somewhat promising.

Think of these upcoming titles as, in a sense continuations…but not.

As it is so far, no one is going to look back on this era as anything of note in regards to Jean, at best. At worst, some will say it was mostly Ls, highlighted more than anything by a Hickman Twitter meme and Monet putting Jean in her inexperienced place. Oh and quitting X-Force and quitting the council of course.

That said, she hasn't gotten it as bad as Rogue or, as some would mention, Betsy.

Also, if Emma is going back to the diaper after getting like 10 good redesigns in the past year and a half alone, what are they doing? Nostalgia is death.

They did bring Excalibur back a couple of years ago without any of the original cast on the team (even if they all showed up as supporting cast except Kurt).

Dawn of X Fallen Angels shared nothing in common with original Fallen Angels etc...

It's weird they do it but not suprising by this point.

Then again, this could be the end result of Jean suggesting, "I think we need to split the team for a little while. We have a name and a place now." Truly, the possibilities are endless, so I'm totally psyched.
