Title should be six months to 1 year - I took what was in the tweet before reading through the screenshots of the facebook post.

    Absolutely terrible news.

Nooooooooo, that's awful! Perez is a wonderful artist, writer and person. His Wonder Woman run will always be the best one in my book. What a great loss.

My heart just sunk. Perez is a monument in the comics community and no-one can replace him. He's always seemed like a really nice guy as well. I hope his last days are enjoyable and as pain-free as possible.

Horrible news. I can only wish him a comfortable final few months and all the love in the world for him and his family. An absolute legend of the craft.

Damn it. After Dan Jurgens, Perez was the first artist who's work I recognized as a young child, and once I learned his name sought out books just for his involvement. I know we all have a limited time on this earth, and he hasn't been in the best of health for awhile now, but reading this hit me harder than I'd have thought...

Having had a family member who passed from pancreatic cancer, I can only hope and give my best wishes to him and his family that he has as painless a final few months as he can get.

Losing a real legend, this hit me harder than I thought.

Really sad news. His work in comics has and will continue to stand the test of time. I wish the best for him and his family and that they can enjoy the next months together

Jesus Christ, I'm sadly way too familiar with Cancer to know what he and his family are going through.

Nobody deserves this. My best wishes to all of them.

This is very sad news. He was one of my favorite writers and artist. He's what drew me into Wonder Woman. Well, my entire day is ruined

    Dammit. Dammit. Dammit.

That man helped me get through so much when I was a kid.
    Thank you, George.
