If this leads to more Yang stuff, Kenan or otherwise, then heck yes.

Well, no offense to the new guy but this doesn't seem ideal. We've been getting some legit quality out of the line lately and I'm sorry to see anyone who helped make that happen leave. Super books haven't been this good in ages.
I wish the new guy luck. I'm not sure how DC structures their editorial (everyone seems to do it a bit differently) or how much authority/influence comes with this particular gig, but I hope he's up to the challenge and has the opportunity to maintain and improve the line's quality.

Jaime Rich also took over the Superline after previously working on the Batbooks, so fingers crossed our new head works out like the old one did. I am curious what this means for some of the smaller side books, like what we’ve been getting from Venditti for example. Will he still get those minis or will Kaminski want to bring in new writers?

Eh, it's the cycle right? We get some real quality stuff for a couple years, then DC decides to derail and ruin it all and give us a lot of awful crap for twice as long before going back and giving us something worth reading again, and on and on it goes.
At least, that's how it's felt to me since the 00's or so. Let's hope that the new owners are breaking that cycle and the new editor isn't a sign of the downward spiral continuing.

Truer words man, truer words....
Since AT&T took over I can't say that I've been unhappy with the "S" stuff they've offered. Perhaps we are getting beyond that self-destructive cycle. Here's to hope!
That's a good sign. I know nothing of this new guy so I have no expectations. I just hope that this upswing in quality continues and the line doesn't implode again.

Good luck to Kaminsky to last more than his predecessors, lol:
Mike Cotton Quits DC Comics After Getting Superman Group Editor Gig?
As Andy Warhol allegedly said: "In the future, everyone will be Superman editor for 15 minutes."
Wonder who he pissed off to get demoted from Bat-office to Super-office...
Anyways... suppose there's any relation to prolific Marvel writer Len Kaminski?
Do we have any knowledge about what this editor likes in his Superman? What “style”, so to speak.
