I'm thinking a fortress with Lara's AI if Clark ever finds her sunshine.

They obviously spent more time on the farm than they did designing the actual Fortress. I mean, they even showed off the house at FanDome .

I've seen a lot of people point out that the damage on the Steel suit might lead to John Henry putting on the S-Shield.

I'm not sure how much more the audience can take of your typical military official calling out Superman for not doing what the government wants him to do.

If Jon's ready to start going out in the field, how far have his powers gotten at this point?
Yeah, I've never been a fan of the whole Superman vs. family man argument, and I hope Sam is a little more balanced towards his family this time around.

I'm going to second this...however I'll add that we don't need any more evil Kryptonians either after season 1. I've always said that with Clark having been Superman for at LEAST 20 years, it gives the writers an out for not having to do introductions to villains. Just continue to do stuff like Killgrave (where we just know he's an enemy of Superman and we don't know what their first interaction was or even how much they've fought). If they need some sort of recent shady organization pulling strings we could do the Invisible Mafia.

Superman refusing to give allegiance to america instead of the world, makes me think they might debut the new 'truth justice and better tomorrow' slogan here. Since they kinda danced around the old one last season when flashback Lois interviewed superman.

I'd like to see some more of Intergang, in my completely hopeless wish to setup Darkeid at some point.

I’d love to see them use the new slogan here! You really want Darkseid on a CW show? That didn’t go so well last time . Even though their budget is clearly a cut above the rest, it will only provoke more outrage from… certain corners of the Internet. I just don’t think Mongul or Darkseid can be done, although Krypton’s take on Doomsday was pretty good so maybe I’m wrong.

I think if they want to really make the new slogan happen they should start peppering it into other adaptions.

According to the writers we will not be getting any more evil Kryptonians storylines.

Not this season anyway but they do mention wanting to bring Thao back as the “Loki” to Superman’s “Thor”. I’m kind of iffy on it, I would rather Edge have just been playing Zod honestly over Superman’s secret half-brother. But the actor was great and I really enjoyed his scenes with Clark so I suppose I’ll wait and see.

Hope this season focuses on other villains however.

Tesseract would be way cool. Some type of fortress in the depths below the Farm would be pretty neat as well. Would just have to make sure it's just not a rehashing of the Batcave though

Yeah that would work too. Liked how they gave Lara some time in S1, this would be a unique way to give her more of a voice in Supes overall.

SUPERMAN & LOIS MAKES B.C. ECONOMY SOAR WITH OVER $95 MILLION SPENT ON FIRST SEASON

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA, Dec. 09, 2021 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- New data released today demonstrates the economic impact of Warner Bros. Television’s DC drama series Superman & Lois in British Columbia, with over $95 million spent in-province on the first season alone.

The analysis by Oxford Economics found that 58 per cent of total in-province spending supported wages and salaries for local production crew and other labour, with the remaining 42 per cent spent on local goods and services from over 1,280 B.C.-based businesses.

Oxford Economics estimates just one season of production stimulated a total of 1,220 jobs in B.C., including 630 direct jobs created on the show. The series is estimated to have contributed approximately $137 million to the provincial GDP in 2020-21.

No matter how many reboots, new origins, reinterpretations or suit redesigns. In the end, he will always be SUPERMAN

My bad, didn't realize this thread already exists. You can go ahead and merge/ delete my redundant one.

So, I'm betting on absolutely no evil Kryptonians in Season 2 (first season went overboard with the concept).

Also, I think we get hints, but no voice or face, of Lex Luthor arriving in Season 3.

Will they re-use Jon Cryer? Go with Clancy Brown? Bryan Cranston? Billy Zane?

Cryer I think is who they’ll go with if they use Luthor. My ideal use for Lex would be to save him for the final season and have it be a loose adaption of All Star where he overcharges Superman’s cells and gives him a death sentence. For this season the villains I would like to see are either Brainiac/Ultra-Humanite for the “Superman” villain and Conduit for the Smallville/Lois villain

I think an adaptation of All Star would work quite well with this version. It also eliminates the problem I had with the original which was it was hard to get attached to a version I'd never seen before.
