Superman & Lois S2: Spoilers, Discussion, & Speculation

One of the writers for the shows have been posting covers/issues featuring Superman vs. Brainiac, so I wonder if that's indicating the direction of season 2.

Seeing that definitely has me thinking Brainiac will be the Big Bad for Superman in S2.

Be awesome if they got the same actor but I’d be happy with just a similar design. That design for Brainiac was aces!

I think the writers said comic fans would know the direction they're heading with the villain once they show up. Comic book fans would immediately recognize that Milton Fine = Brainiac.

I'd love Blake Ritson's Brainiac to be the villain on this show. He was amazing on Krypton, performance wise ad well as his design especially.

I hope we’re not in for a “Despero” where 90% of the time Brainiac just looks like a regular guy. After Krypton that would be lame. I want to see a Brainiac who actually looks the part.

The Superman And Lois show should just adopt SyFy's Krypton show as their retroactive prequel and just port over their main villains Brainiac, Zod, Doomsday, and Lobo (same actors, same costuming, same SFX) to this show.

It'd be high-key hilarious if SAL embraced Krypton while continuing to shun the CW's Supergirl show.

I don't want normal guy Brainiac either but I acknowledge that, while this show has a bigger budget than some of the Arrowverse shows, it's still got a TV budget and can only do so much so they might want to play with a lower-key version of Brainiac instead of going full world bottling guy in a skull ship.

I wanted them to go all out with Eradicator and they didn't really, but I would 100% love if we saw a Brainaic like Krypton at some point in the show's run.

To be fair, Krypton's Brainiac was mostly prosthetics. Looking at what shows like Buffy, Angel and Farscape were able to achieve decades ago without a giant budget, and what Krypton did, Superman and Lois can definitely pull off a good Brainiac, since he is the size of a normal human.

Kinda surprised Supergirl did nothing with brainiac. While i really doubt that show would have done him justice, i feel like it's easier to justify Supergirl using Brainiac instead of lifting other Superman villains like Lex, Parasite, Manchester Black etc. At least Kara and Brainiac have a good amount of history together in the comics. Not complaining though, probably wouldn't have made good use of him. Anyway it's not just the actor from Krypton i'd like them to bring back, they did a good job with that skull ship too

I was really surprised at what they were able to pull off for that show from a design/CG standpoint. Especially because Sy-Fy seems like as much of a niche channel as the CW.
