Trying to ID an old SW comic

Hi all,

Sorry that is is going to be vague, but this is from over 40 years ago...

I'm trying to ID a Star Wars comic I remember my brother having. It was in black and white with the original art style. Some of the things I remember about it are:

I think it was a digest - I remember it being thicker than a normal comic.

I remember it involved a group of stormtroopers, or people in pieces of stormtrooper armour on, I think, a jungle planet. I recall they had quite a bit of dialogue and, as a little kid, I was suprised by that. My very old memory says they may have been a group of AWOL troopers, or some form of special group.

It had Luke and Leia in it for sure. I think C3PO was in it too.

It would have been from before 1984, but being in a digest, it was likely a reprint - perhaps even of newpaper strips.

Sorry it's so little info, but maybe that might strike a cord with someone - especially the stormtrooper'ish group of guys.
