Ok, gonna shelve part 3 talk for a while to actually talk about part 2 for a second. Beware spoilers:

I like it with an asterisk. The dance off was weird asf, but I guess it would play well with kids. But the "Bridezilla" segment, I felt like I was suddenly in another movie. I guess feedback from the first movie said she was popular so they wanted to give her more to do in this one. Those two instances aside, I otherwise didn't mind the human characters and enjoyed the movie. Stone was funny, so was that deputy. And Mean Bean café, Mean Bean lol loved that game.

Now, my point of reference is Sonic 1-3, and the Knuckles add on. And the game I mentioned in the spoilers, as well as Sonic Pinball. I played but never beat Sonic CD, Sonic Adventure 1 and Sonic 3D Blast.

I finally watched the movie. I enjoyed and overall I think it's a better movie than the first. What really grinded my gears about this movie is the music. Sonic as a series has always been known for fantastic music and the fact that none of it was used disappoints me. What makes it worse is that there were moments in this movie where using the game music would fit. A remix of Ice Cap from Sonic 3 would have been perfect for the snowboarding set piece. spoilers:

Any random music track from the games for the dance off, an Eggman boss theme when he's destroying Green Hills in his egg robot, using Live & Learn or Open Your Heart for the Super Sonic sequence. Where was the panic inducing drowning jingle when Sonic was drowning?

end of spoilers. It pisses me off all we got was Green Hills theme as a ring tone.

I finally saw this today and I really enjoyed it. The only disappointment I really had with the movie was the music.

Thought this was a lot of fun only thing I didn't like was the wedding subplot it was stupid random and the Aunt isn't funny it could have been cut so easy.
