I think it kind of does. Most likely Storm is in both books. And they only list 11 QC members, so I’m guessing they just accidentally left Magneto off.

It really makes great sense. Xavier wants someone on the council that he believes will be 100% behind whatever he wants to happen. A puppet "yes" vote. He probably still views Peter as the noble, innocent naive farmboy that will fall in line with his beloved teacher. Not accounting for: 1) his own growth over the years, and not being as naive, and 2) the fact that Peter is being "controlled" by Mikhail.

I know there's a contrived reason they've come up with that an island full of telepaths somehow can't see he's being controlled..but Xavier is a telepath, so him not accounting for growth over the years and him not being as naive doesn't make any sense either..he would know

They billed the X-force book where he was revealed to be betraying everyone as his biggest story ever? Like that's some original thing..Acolytes anyone? Seriously c'mon..

At this point the best thing that could happen to the character is for him to not be in the X-books anymore..they don't know what to do with him and at the very least he'd get a better costume if he was on another Marvel team. (could be one if the coolest looking characters in comics if they just gave him a costume similar to his Manifest Destiny era costume) I'd like to see him be an actual fucking superhero. I'd give anything for him not to be a part of this, whatever the **** this **** is anymore.

That's a good thing. Not many can write team books well at all anyway, much less one that would feature 12 people.

The line has needed this book since HOX/POX ended. I'll never understand why something like this didn't launch in 2019.

Because Gillen wasn't available and covid messed things up then Hickman left.

I feel your pain. I’m always extremely touched when I see fans of characters that are being raked across the coals share their sentiments and frustrations. It’ll get better!
