So, not including Pete or Ultimate Pete.

    1. Venom (Brock)
    2. MJ
    3. Norman (probably more for the Dark Reign stuff than Spidey related activities)
    4. JJJ
    5 Anya Corazon
    6. Anna Maria Marconi
    7. Tombstone
    8. Doc Conners/Lizard
    9. Mr. Negative
    10. The Spot

I think it's a testament to the strength of Pete's supporting cast that so many of them show up in these lists. For most other characters it would just be filled with sidekicks and villains.

Excluding Pete and all versions and variations of him.

    1. MJ
    2. Roderick Kingsley (hell yeah!)
    3. Aunt May
    4. J Jonah Jameson
    5. Norman Osborn
    6. Flash Thompson
    7. Doc Ock
    8. Mayday Watson-Parker/MC2 Spider-Girl
    9. Miles Morales
    10. Captain George Stacy (should have been resurrected in BND along with Harry)

1)Miguel O'Hara/Spider-Man 2099: Honestly, I kinda like him more than Pete, due to the fact that after OMD we got back to the happy-go-lucky man child Pete and I don't like that. I don't want a Batman Peter, but I'd like him to stop being such a fool.
2)Felicia Hardy/Black Cat: My favourite female cbc alongside Mystique and Carol Danvers.
3)J. Jonah Jameson: Best supporting character ever!
4)Roderick Kinglsey/Hobgoblin: Best goblin ever, period.
5)Norman Osborn: I actually got around to really liking him with Ellis tbh. I liked him before as well, but I preferred Kingsley as a Goblin and Ellis made Norm more than the GG.
6)Eddie Brock/Venom: A dark Spider-Man with delusions of heroism. What's not to like?
7)Otto Octavius/Doc Ock: Peter's dark reflection as opossed to Spider-Man's.
8)Sergei Kravinoff/Kraven: A hunter with a sense of honor and a fucked up mind.
9)Quentin Beck/Mysterio: An underdog who just wants to swim in cash. Plus, he's got a kick-ass costume
10)Kaine/Scarlet Spider: The black sheep of the Parker family.

Honorable mentions: Carnage, The Prowler, Gwen, MJ,The Lizard.

    1. Ben Reilly, this guy needs to come back, nuff said.
    2. Aunt May, the strength it took for her to do what she did for Peter I don't think gets enough attention. Always hated that Peter never told May his secret, but love that in the Ultimate Universe she found out.
    3. Uncle Ben, without him, there would be no Spider-Man. With great power, comes great responsibility.
    4. Gwen Stacy, love what Ema Stone did to bring the character to the 21st century, brilliant, beautiful, compassionate, heroic, tragic. What's not to love.
    5. J. Jonah Jameson, I think someone else said, best supporting character in comics.
    6. Mary Jane Watson, screw OMD, MJ and Loise Lane ARE the first ladies of comics to me, fascinating when they are with their men, and equally fascinating without them.
    7. Norman Osborn, Superman has Lex Luthor, Batman has the Joker, Wolverine has Sabertooth, and Peter has Osborn.
    8. Venom, nothing like a mirror of how low you could have fallen to put things in perspective.
    9. Robbie Robertson, as much as the Spidey narrative needs Jonah, Jonah needs Robbie.
    10. Felicia Hardy, every time Black Cat shows up, you know your in for a wild ride.

    1) Mary Jane Watson, Peter Parker's wife, and greatest love interest, she has to be top for me
    2) J. Jonah Jameson, when handled by Peter David in particular, and I will add the Ultimate version by Brian Michael Bendis
    3) Aunt May, handled by J.M DeMatties or by J.M.S (the J.M's can do wonders with her)
    4) Scorpion, he's been my favorite Spider-Man villain for as long as I've known him, probably due to Spider-Friends, and then his time as a Thunderbolt
    5) Mysterio (Quentin Beck), he made Spider-Man question his sanity more than once, and made him lose his powers once, and is a fun villain, not revenge crazed maniac or too angry
    6) Flash Thompson. Grows from bully to best friend, he definitely deserves a high note
    7) Uncle Ben, the guy the reboot movies seem to have forgotten, dude took his nephew in with open arms, treated him like a son, he was the father Peter had, he was the father Peter wanted to make proud of him, and he's the one that helped place the one rule of superheroes in neon lights, and identified as Spider-Man's most famous line "With great power Comes Great Responsibility". It's not him who said it, but the idea stuck to Peter's head thanks to his uncle, though under unfortunate circumstance
    8) Norman Osborn. Iron Patriot era is the best Norman ever was
    9) Joe Robertson. He is the closest Peter ever had to a father after the death of his uncle Ben, and one of the greatest superiors at work and supporting cast member. And Randy had his time as a semi-brother to Peter, thanks to his father
    10) John Jameson, for making his old man show his soft spot
    TRUTH, JUSTICE, HOPE
That is, the heritage of the Kryptonian Warrior: Kal-El, son of Jor-El

This is the list for today, it could change anytime:

    1) J Jonah Jameson- great supporting character
    2) Hobgoblin (Roderick) - he's not the arch, but could & maybe should have been if Stern had more time with him
    3) The Green Goblin- The archenemy, I'd just never let him become too Lex-Luthor-like, he should be more unstable than he's often shown
    4) Doctor Octopus- One of the great mad scientist villains
    5) Harry Osborn - should never die
    6) The Vulture - I love his design and character, the old man villain
    7) Mysterio - cool character
    8) The Sandman
    9) MJ - as a girlfriend
    10) Aunt May - she should never die

Not gonna list Punisher and Kingpin, as they've ventured out so far from their humble beginnings.

Wow very challenging to narrow it down to ten, minus Spidey. Anyhow here are my top ten of all time:

1.) J. Jonah Jameson (in many ways Spidey's ultimate foil)

2.) Aunt May (Spidey's mother figure)

3.) Mary Jane Watson (Spidey's true love, she helps make him stronger)

4.) Norman Osborn (the most personal of foes)

5.) Dr. Otto Octavius (what Spidey could become if he lacked morals and was driven solely by intellect)

6.) Gwen Stacey (Spidey's original love interest, her tragic passing marked his life)

7.) Harry Osborn (Spidey's best friend and sometimes enemy, frenemies before the idea was coined)

8.) Flash Thompson (Spidey's high school bully who evolved into an interesting character)

9.) Roderick Kingsley (The cold, calculating successor to the goblin mantle)

10.) Eddie Brock (the dark, twisted reflection of Spidey)
