I would want to go back to most of the original series characters. Nightcrawler and Kylun are great with some swords. I put Meggan in because I thought why not, but wouldn’t be upset with fairy replacement (like Tink) or something.

I wouldn’t mind some of the Variants of CB (alt Brian or Jamie or others) coming back if a Betsy Variant CB is killed. Linda coming back would be cool.

I would add Wanda to the team simply because the stakes would make her more rootable imo and most of the magic peeps are in new mutants and they definitely need a powerful mage in knights. wiccan would be a good addition as well. And a teleporter, every team should have a least one teleporter in my opinion.

I feel like the team is really solid right now. They just need to be utilized better and have clearer arcs. Gambit has Saturnyne's tarot cards, the Crooked Market and a possible enemy in Mercator, but that's going to waste. The only thing I'd really change is Shogo's removal, since a baby shouldn't be involved in stuff like this.

Agreed. My opinion is the same as it was for Excalibur. The team is perfectly fine, just have them written by someone who can use them well, but I guess Marvel doesn’t care about this book being good. It’s all a terrible waste.
