Very disappointed.
I don't know what Gambit's fans have done so badly in lives to get stuck with Tini Howard`s writing for years.

I am out. Won`t buy any Marvel book till Gambit won`t be saved from Tini.

Maybe it's not written by Howard? A fresh take would be really great.

It says Ten Realms/Ten Knights at the top and bottom of the page.

Gambit will be like: Calling it, Crooked Market - dat one's mine! (Or Blightspoke, since he seemed to like it there)

Brian and Jubilee are missing, but maybe they are the other two of the ten Knights?

Betsy, Jubilee, Gambit, Bei, Victor, Shatterstar and Shogo? It's that the cast? Or is that not Jubilee there w her hands on the wall?

And Rachel. Not Jubilee. Makes sense given Rachel's history with the Otherworld, Merlyn, Roma, and Saturnyne. I think Jubes is going to be on Krakoa with Shogo (who is on the poster solely as a threat to Merlyn and the fae) and Meggan may guest star but will take refuge on Krakoa.

Oh, I guess that does look like Rachel and not Jubilee. Well, Shogo did get more story than Jubilee did so he might as well replace her. I guess Jubilee will be supporting?

Brian and Jamie are missing too so I don't think the cover depicts the whole cast. Unless Brian gets killed tomorrow, eek.

Yeah, Rachel makes a lot of sense for this book. I do hope it's a new writer though. This book would be good especially if they give Rachel/Gambit really good stories.

Eh, needs a better hook, new writer, and more dynamic characters I feel like the Marauders team and this book could mix.

Drop Gambit, Jubilee, and Rictor add Bishop, Psylocke, Daken, Kitty, and Nightcrawler.

Feels like a better cast than this one, give Jubilee, Gambit, and Rictor to the Marauders.

edit: The last few issues of Excalibur have been good but i think the book sorely needs a new voice at this point.

Well and so.

I think Tini has definitely found her groove with storytelling and characterisations so if she is indeed the writer (I don't see anyone else in the chair considering this Otherworld/Magic premise was solely hers from the very beginning) I'm very much IN. I'm hoping for a complete "Otherworld" book where-in the Knights are just adventuring and heroing throughout the Realms.

I also hope Reis is just the artist for the promo art because I don't ever want him to leave New Mutants.

Sorry, not for me, Excalibur was extremely boring for me.

The "new" premise certainly does lend itself to some interesting stories though. It will be interesting to see mutants feared and hated in a world where humans, demons, vampires, etc exist and have access to magic etc. Really makes me wonder what new mutants will potentially look like when the biggest magic users based on things i've read here are rumored to be showing up there.

I’m somewhat in the same boat. I personally think that each of the Dawn of X Wave 1 books that didn’t get a writer change (Marauders, Excalibur, and X-Force) were in need of creative switch ups. At the same time since Tini was pretty much guaranteed to get an X-book for Destiny of X, I think I prefer her staying with Otherworld where she is slowly but surely improving than give her a book like X-Corp that she can botch again.

Main focus? He is a wallpaper in it or written only on pages to be called an idiot or imbicile. Howard can`t write him and don`t want to. She has no plans for him and is just trolling fans. 25 issues of Excalibur already showed it.

Agreed, I've been hoping for an Otherworld book as I find the realms so interesting.

Perhaps the official announcement about this will come out today.
