Maybe it is too hard to sell both at once.

I like to think I'm patient in expectations, as this is a comic shared by a dude who would shower and nap if the plot required him to do something like travel ten miles unaided. But I guess this issue was the straw on the camel's back for me. Still a very good Brave and the Bold comic though.

I would again recommend reading the Boy Thunder arc before deciding if you want to bail because I think that was the book’s best arc thus far, and Superman took the lead there. Plus Waid has been hinting that there will be a direct follow up to that plot soon, probably starting in Oct, and it might even be connected to this Superman event that’s being teased in the Sept solicit which Williamson/PKJ/Watters also seem set to participate in.
