This Superman versus GL fight is going better than the New 52 one. Though I guess magic helps.

The irony is that all these characters actually did sacrifice themselves at some point!

    Seems like a great fit.

On topic, this book has been great. These are the kinds of adventures I miss in comics.

Does DC have confidence in DP enough to publish a book? They are opening up a bit, but still seem hesitant to publish anything out of core characters.
Pulls: Batman, Detective Comics, SiKtC, Catwoman, Nightwing, Titans, Godzilla, Wonder Woman, Batman & Robin, Brave and the Bold, No/One, Kill your Darlings, and Deviant.
My runs: Batman #230-, and Detective #420-

A more old school Doom Patrol book from Waid would be pretty cool .

^^^I'm not asking for a 100+ issue run; I’d enjoy (and re-read) whatever Waid managed to get away with!

    ^^^I think so, too.
It’s obvious he likes the characters, and has a good handle on them, their personalities and group dynamics. Waid’s the kind of writer who takes what’s come before and spins it in entertaining new directions. He has a lot to play w. when it comes to the DP, who’s had what, 5-6 reimaginings since the eighties!

Why aren't more books this upbeat and fun?

I didn't realize an artist change was coming either. I'm a bit sad because Mora has pretty much been drawing the ultimate Robin Dick, imo, but Moore isn't a bad choice. I don't think he's ever drawn Robin Dick for more than a panel before.
