Jean appears to quire saying she's there if he needs it

Logan finds blond girl surfing waves near a exploding volcanoes. She kills herself via Lava.

Logan wanted to save her but she didn't wat to be saved she was free and he had to let her go. Apperantly they were in love or felt somting real.(need a excuse to make logan feel sad about blonds death)

Xeno has kid.

Last page is about how colossus mad him self small. He's barely there and very quiet (like he's running on auto)

No update on vampire race war, Mikhail, or how tattoo guy got out of the hole Mikhail placed him in.

Dosent feel like a end or conclusion, it felt like filler.

I wonder if Percy's sudden urge to retcon Wolverine into a passionate surfer and have a whole 2 part story arc about surfing super soldier bandit's was because he saw Pointbreak the day he had to come up with the next plot before the relaunch?

If yes, i further wonder if it was the remake?

Excalibur felt like a ending. This is wait 3 months and maybe this plot will be picked up.

Excalibur hands down is worse, at least X-Factor has been somewhat enjoyable. Excalibur is like pulling teeth.

The Jean scene was cringe AF. Percy's take on the character leans into all her worst attributes. 1 - MomJeans and cumrag for Logan/Scott. Barf.

Like honestly, I thought the karaoke scene was peak cringe but he managed to top it.

Imagine praising this take on the character compared to Duggan. Who hasn't exactly been great but has wrote a competent Jean to the detriment of everyone else.

I thought some of this was okay. The Bluebird was a neat addition to the X-Vehicle garage. I liked the idea of the modified humans being literal adrenaline junkies, but the problem is they don’t do anything with it. Also there was a lot of cheese this issue, I enjoy some cheese in my books and movies but this was a bit much.
