Well, that’s the first time I’ve ever seen John Constantine in that costume.
This looks like fun. I love Earth 13! Plus Orion with his original design. Finally!
I will never not be tickled that Grant Morrison managed to include an obvious pastiche of Erik Larsen's Savage Dragon in the DCU, particularly considering what that comic has inexplicably morphed into in recent years.
Got my fingers crossed that this one is better than the last.

I wasn't too fussed on Infinite Frontier, so I've decided to skip the rest of the story.

I counted the days until IF #1 and I liked that series pretty well, it was alright. But mostly I liked it for the promise of what was going to happen next. One really cool thing happened in IF which was that so many of the more 'modern' JSA members were found. And then what happened next felt more than anything like 'to be continued in 6 months.'
So okay, I thought. I want to be generous here because I want to love this so much so I waited and I got excited all over again. And only pleasure I've found in either issue of this series so far has to do, again, with the idea that something cool's about to happen anytime now. I'm sure I'll still buy these and read them as they come out, but I'm going to stop being all excited. I feel like I'm the one doing all the work in this relationship.
