Take this basic structure and give it a higher budget and it could work.

I hope they take some cues from the Archie comic as far as adapting the story because they did a great job adapting and revamping the classic games.

Because the Mega Man I know, while fine for a cartoon would be pretty hard to translate to live action...unless he's computer animated and interacting with real people...but I'm kind of done with that shtick.
A guy in a Blue armour what's so hard about that?

Lol sure. It's a bit too transformers but it works. I wouldn't mind the guys who did the Transformers Prime cartoon do a Mega man X one.

For one thing, Mega Man isn't wearing armor.

Again, Mega Man has a very different aesthetic from the likes of Iron Man. Iron Man can be transferred to live action because the comics are drawn in such a way that wouldn't be jarring. This is not the case for Mega Man. The characters have short statures, and cartoonishly shaped eyes and heads. This can't be done in live action without veering into uncanny valley. If you ignore the aesthetics for the adaptation, it will just look boring and cheap. We've seen these problems before with stuff like the live action Flintstones movies.

I hope they make Mega Man look like the sad middle aged man they had on the original Nintendo American box art.

Again I still don't see the problem rocket raccoon Alita Battle Angel Gollum pikachu and sonic have all worked more or less if done right so can this it's hardly impossible I mean it's not like he has to look 100% like the game I'm more concerned about the plot working.

Mega Man aesthetic is not live action friendly. I don't see it working without some heavy changes. I'll expect to be more in line with the ruby spears cartoon than the game.

I'd rather we get an animated movie than live-action myself.
