Groan. I was hoping this version would disappear and be forever forgotten so we could someday get the real Legion back.

I’ll don the mask and wear the cape
If I am super, how can I wait?
I don't know that I'm watch it but I'm fine with it. Between this and Naomi, hopefully he will move away into another medium like Johns has. He would not be missed by this DC comics fan.
I'm not a Legion fan and not a huge Superman follower anyway.
What's wrong with Bendis Legion?

I wonder why it's "adult" did the Legion take mature turn recently?
Reading List (Super behind but reading them nonetheless):
DC: Currently figuring that out
Marvel: Read above

Other: The Antagonist, Something is Killing the Children, Avatar: TLAB

Bendis’ LoS was terrible but I’ll be onboard with this if they change his version of Timber Wolf to something similar to his Bronze Age design.
As long as it doesn't make the mistake the comic did and pretend that Clark's LSH doesn't exist, I'm fine with Bendis's version.
The entirety of the run? I'm not that huge of a fan that I'll feel obligated to watch, but I did enjoy the OG series. Maybe the end result will be better but it feels limiting when they can combine and recreate things from the entire history of the Legion into one series. And, that could be how they handle it.

Well, I guess he has enough fans to get a TV project greenlit (don't ever see myself watching 'Namoi'), but I don't like that this is being based on his mediocre (at best) run. Why spotlight such a brief period when you can draw on decades of really good stories?!
This should be easy for him. The characterization/personalities will go like this: "Hi, I'm [insert name], and my power is [insert power(s)]. Boom! Done!
Don't get me wrong, I've loved a lot Bendis' work in the past, but his Legion and Justice League have been abysmal. From anyone not having a discernible personality to the plots just kinda being there without any cohesion, it's been a hot mess.
And, full disclaimer, I am a fan of the classic Legion. And I enjoyed the "aging up" that Johns and Frank did with the characters. This 4-boot Legion is just shiny, diverse in a generic "I am different because of (X)" pointlessness.
Aside from Sook's redesigns, I'm not expecting a ton of Bendis' series to influence this show. Most of his issues has been in his pacing and weak characterization, which won't necessarily happen on a tv show where it will be up to the showrunner and their writers. The show almost certainly won't have the Legion walk around in a herd talking over each other all the time with the exact same "self-aware Whedon voice."
