Congratulations to ChadH for a marvelous monochromatic cover witch, errrr, which was one of the Aja wonders to grace that respected series.

And now, the peak of the week and what, if anything, the captain has learned this contest. Snow is wet and cold. It needs to be shoveled. It is not one of the captain's favorite things. However, it is as pretty as anything while it falls and collects. Snow is a great symbolic sign that it is cold and can be added to a picture with minimal effort. And yes melting snow does serve an environmental purpose when it melts and hydrates plant life. It also melts, comes down the hill and drags dirt into my driveway but that's a topic for my city councilor.

There were some honorable mentions this week that I feel the need to point out.
ChadH's Aja cover was one of them.
Icctrombone's stark IM cover was another.
WestPhillyPunisher's Betty cover was one as well, although I can't see any chance of the snow not melting if Archie and Betty are producing any kind of heat. Oh, Archie Comics.
And Shalla Bal's initial example was a powerful meta statement of our (at least my) fixation on these funny book things every Wednesday.
