    Default The Infinity Clause

In the history you know, despite the efforts of many heroes to thwart him, Thanos of Titan managed to obtain the six Infinity Stones and use them to Snap half the population of the universe out of existence. Shortly afterward he is killed by the Avengers but due to him destroying the Stones they are unable to undo what Thanos had wrought for five years.

But in another reality things take a different turn, as one Scott Calvin is among the half of humanity that was randomly Snapped. Because of this when Thanos uses the Space Stone to escape from Thor's wrath instead of the Garden he finds himself at the North Pole, where he then feels an irresistible impulse which drives him to don an empty set of clothes lying at his feet. He then discovers that since he killed Scott Calvin the mantle the man bore now passed onto him, as have the duties which come with it.

So how does Thanos cope with being forced to help a horde of elves give toys to good children instead of being able to rest and watch the sun rise on a grateful universe? How long can he avoid the wrath of the Avengers while traveling around the world one night a year as part of his duties? And will the Mad Titan be able to keep his original perspective or will he slowly succumb to the Christmas spirit?

I, The Watcher, pose this question to you all,

Remember in Nightmare Before Christmas when Jack was going around putting monsters in everyone's houses?

    Basically that.

Except, instead of creepy monsters Thanos hands out doomsday weapons and ancient artefacts of power that the recievers are just not ready for, ensuring chaos and destruction on a massive unintentional scale.

Must agree with this. They'll look cute and all, due to the elves making them.

So in fairness, he already kinda is Santa.

    Or was.

He used to travel with a literal Chaos Sprite. I assume he just clones a bunch of her and lets her wreak havoc.
Yeah, but if you... man, we're getting into weird analogy territory, like if you disintegrated Superman's arms he wouldn't be able to go "fool! Little did you know that my arms and I are one and can be remade from me!" and will his arms back into being from pure nothingness. - Pendaran
