It's super-annoying to me, as a long-time Eternals fan, since the Eternals used to *not die all the time,* and were almost entirely invulnerable, with it taking a special Deviant machine that broke down their willpower (which held their bodies together under the face of nearly any amount of destructive force) and allowed them to be killed. It was kind of a huge deal when something killed an Eternal, and things that *appeared* to kill them (like Blastarr's energy blasts) just dispersed their molecules for a short time, until they literally pulled themselves back together and reassembled their own bodies, never actually 'dying.'
And now they die like wheat. Friggin' knives can cut them. Much like Wolverine, who seems to just get messed up in every single fight, because we know he'll 'get better' (despite fighters who are many times less experienced or skilled than him wading into the exact same fights and mysteriously *not* getting all cut up, almost like Wolverine is actually the *worst* at 'what he does...'), it seems like this whole Eternals resurrection crap has resulted in them just dying like flies.
I just can't take this whole new generation of replaceable temporary Eternals seriously. They kind of suck compared to the actually eternal Eternals.
