Jean is probably sick of it. Easy to understand. She doesn't need that burden.
Love is for souls, not bodies.
Most events I can at least see the appeal for even if I don't end up reading it, but this one not so much. It feels so contrived. Literally no one wants another superhero fighting superhero event.
Wanna make somethin' of it?
I just wished they let her do an heroic moment to be remembered for, if they wanted so much to get rid of that part of her identity. Like in-universe all that people remember about her is Dark Phoenix and precisely the star-eating part of Dark Phoenix, and idk would have been nice if she had the chance to show the world the opposite as a parting gift. But nah they preferred depressing Phoenix Resurrection with Rosenberg bs (“Jean doesn’t know what the Phoenix is”).
And who got the heroic Phoenix moment? f*king Hope Summers lol
Anyway, ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

From the sounds of it the Eternals find out that mutants have somehow evolved from their mortal enemies the deviants, the Avengers are also using the body of one of the Eternals' Celestial gods as their headquarters and last but not least Thanos is currently Prime Ternal.
I feel that the X-Men and the Avengers will battle the Eternals, it also sounds like the Celestial Arisham will come and judge the Earth.
We may also finally see Thanos v Apocalypse.

I am a Marvel fan preferably cosmic storylines, especially Thanos or Dark Phoenix related, when both the Avengers and the X-Men are involved count me in, loved the original Uncanny Avengers series.
Not a fan of any of the new characters.

I hunk I’m going to need a primer on the eternals, again.
Oh hey, someone finally acknowledged that Thor grew his beard back. Aaron’s Avengers has been ignoring it for whatever reason.
I gotta get me some Eternals trades. I just read Eternals: The Heretics review and I must say I'm liking the panels of Thanos talking to his uncle.
