He also used it earlier against Norman Osborn in the Dark Reign tie-in arc "American Son," after Norman gloated to Spidey about how he was going to sacrifice Harry, his own son and Peter's best friend, after having already seduced and impregnated Harry's wife-to-be Lily Hollister, a.k.a. the then-latest Goblin villain Menace, and then play the grieving father to win sympathy from the public and media that he would exploit as a cover to acquire even more power, which he would go on to use for even more horrific acts.

Funnily enough, Spidey used it on Norman again at the end of Superior, but on his mask, and Norman even points out Spidey could've done so early in his carreer to unmask Norman himself:

That's pretty f***ing boss. Kaine's Scarlet Spider suit really is "Spider-Man, but not", and it's not bad, but it definitely lacks something to make him stand out more. This is a pretty damn good middle ground between both designs.

I'm just not partial to manbuns overall, but I'm also one of your most likely targets to be spotted and singled out with the statement of "ok boomer" so it's just my old age catching with me. But really, awesome work.

Damn, looks good! I like the bun in his non-costume look (him sporting a man-bun in BR:SS was partialy a reason why I had mine for a while lol), I was never a fan of superheroes with "bald" head mask like Ricochet or Sam Wilson's CA.

And I think redeemed Kaine wouldn't want to wear something that resembles him his past crimes. But it looks damn good though. Maybe some Kaine's variant from different dimension?

That's kind of brilliant. Not a fan of the hair, but I think it's a really nice homage to the original costume, as well as something that'd stand out w/the other costumes worn by various spiders.

Also, @Lukmendes, how are you able to insert large images when @xpyred and myself can't seem to? The image I attached is large enough. Maybe because I used the insert image instead of an attachment? Or because I used my phone instead of a computer?
