    I just noticed something for the first time. Batman has his trunks and leggings on. But Rhas is holding the whole costume.
    There came a time when the Old Gods died! The Brave died with the Cunning! The Noble perished locked in battle with unleashed Evil! It was the last day for them! An ancient era was passing in fiery holocaust!

    I think the “leggings” are the choice of the colorist… It hasn’t been the idea of the penciller, the inker…

    Found an explanation from Neal here;
    https://13thdimension.com/13-days-of...ry-batman-244/

    “For those of you to whom it has not occurred on this cover, how many pairs of pants does Batman have? (With apologies for the structure of that last sentence.) He has two pairs of pants. Why is that you ask? How could Ra’s al Ghul take off Batman’s pants without taking off his shorts and seeing his junk which would have led to far, far too many questions? So when I explained it to my editor, he told me to color Batman’s leg like it was Batman’s costume and no one will even notice. But now that I’ve told you, it’s hard to notice anything else…isn’t it?”

    Oh wow....good catch. The subtitle should be the Battle of the Hairy Chests.

    foxley for an unforgettable cover.

    Special mention to WestPhillyPunisher and Stony whose covers fit nicely the bill…

    I'm voting for Stony as Ultron is looking plenty triumphant to me!

    K7P5V—the composition is just great.

    WestPhillyPunisher.
    Seeing someone else’s villain invading a different comic really made this a great cover and one I still remember from when I was a kid.

    Stony There are a lot of very good covers here that I am familiar with, but I have never seen that Perez cover before.
    It's a winner.
