Love or hate it, it's part of my childhood.
And I love Ted Cassidy as the Thing.

I'm so glad I didn't have to live through that Herbie cartoon.

Guest appearance I guess but just for this clip it's worth it. Oh and I was serious when I said masterpiece. I love whacky stuff like this in comics and I love them even more when they find their way to other media. The day I see F4 beating Skrulls by making them think they are cows in a cartoon will be a happy day for me. 1967 series kinda did it but I wanna see it beautifully animated.

I should clarify; my first introduction to the FF was from this coloring book. So I assumed that Herbie was an original member instead of the Torch.

Born in `75 and a lot my early childhood was coloring and record books.
The `80's and Betamax tapes brought a whole new world of cartoons and this and a few others of the Marvel Comics Video Library were constant weekend rentals (and copied from VHS to Betamax for me).

Phantom of Film City and the two episodes of the `67 Spider-Man cartoon...To Catch a Spider and Double Identity. Ohhh, the memories.

Why was Magneto in an FF cartoon?
He was in the 80s spider-man cartoons also. Doc ock and puppet master both showed up in the 80s hulk cartoon and dr doom was a bad guy in spider-man also.

They even took 4 doom episodes and edited them into a "movie" dr doom conquers the world.

I'm born in '55, twenty years older. I've always loved, cherished even, my memories of reading their adventures.
When the new FF came on Saturday mornings, I was 21 or so, but still read comics and loved the cartoon versions.
Herbie was a hard pill to swallow though.

I’m out of the loop. Who’s drawing the FF book these days, does Slott still write it and are there decent reviews? I have not read since Hickmann is why I ask

    1. Current artist is Francesco Manna.
    2. Slott is still writing it.
    3. Slott's run is a mixed bag with critics.
