Boy, that is digging deep on Lyja with her bird-like look.
I was looking at the Lyja animated picture. It reminded me of Sky. Which reminded me that I don't know if Reed and Sue took off their soulmate bands yet.
I’ll don the mask and wear the cape
If I am super, how can I wait?
Gosh, I hope so. A lot of Slott stuff should just be ignored IMO.
WHEN is that Alex Ross FF book dropping? I know he had some copies as SDCC, but it hadn't been generally released yet.
Namor the Sub-Mariner, Marvel's oldest character, will have been published for 85 years in 2024. So where's my GOOD Namor anniversary ongoing, Marvel?
Be sure to check out the Invisible Woman appreciation thread!
Considering Spidey is being considered mediocre angst porn, and Aaron's Avengers run has people who talk about it not really liking it, even with those Marvel doesn't really know what to do lol.
At least X-Men are doing better, but the supposedly "main" title is pretty forgettable, X-Men Red and Immortal X-Men are compensating for it.
I think this is just referencing what the 90's were doing at the time without the context of the comics.
From what I hear, Xavier's hoverchair in the comics was built by Forge based on Shi'ar tech, and in the cartoon he has it before meeting Forge, or had access to any Shi'ar tech.
So yeah, I assume he's wearing the helmet because he wore that in the 90's, but is without the context of Wolverine cutting his face.
A timeskip seems to have happened in the X-Men comic, so maybe Franklin was born during it.
Ryan North and Iban Cobello are the new creative team. Alex Ross will do covers

The Squirrel Girl guy? Oh god.
"Cable was right!"
Told ya. As soon as we got that compass teaser art, I said it'd be Ryan North. Though the teaser did have Writer next to the N and Artist next to the S, so I suspect Cobello isn't who they originally planned.
The compass pointing west was a reference to them leaving New York.

I am hopeful based on that interview. Could be very fun if he pulls it off successfully.
