Just a quick idea about new skill set. In Omega she absorbed both Darkhold and Chthon right?
Darkhold pages are shown to be indestructible(assuming it's a magic property the writings give to the pages, instead of just the pages being made of tough materials), so one easy way to use that property is to somehow transfer the Darkhold writings on her own skin temporarily(Modred did it once in Mighty Avengers) to gain some incredible durability.
Even if they limit Wanda's power by using explanation like her lack of understanding of Darkhold/Chaos Magic(compared to Chthon of course), it would be interesting to see Wanda working with what she does know and find creative use for her newly acquired raw assets.
Another potential plot point is that Chthon kinda being imprisoned within Wanda, so it would be interesting to see if he is still conscious, maybe Wanda can visit him in a dreaming state(Lovecraftian style), playing some chess and strike some bargains(assuming Wanda didn't simply absorb his knowledge, just his soul/essence, and he is still somewhat a separate entity within Wanda, so she still have some code to crack.). Again, just give him more unique characterization(he is still somewhat generic dark lord in Darkhold Omega.)
I actually want Chthon to be a chill one who doesn't hold grudges.(I generally want higher mystical beings to be beyond human emtions, their love or hatred should be very different from mortals) (Also Wanda should probably sarcastically suggest she did fulfill his wish by bringing him back to sweet home Earth, I always like the "power of irony" when it comes to narrative involving destiny, prophecy and divine/mystical intents.)

Its so confusing that in AvX, they talk about Wanda's chaos magic (the powerup she had, in HoM) and never mention the life force
Yup, the theories proposed in Mystic Arcana/Marvel Tarot hold so much potential.
What if Darkhold literally recorded stories about those connected to Chthon, and thus those people's memories can be tempered with in a literal form? Like you are writing a character? Easy explanation for Wanda's random memory loss regarding her kids and Agatha.
Not Wanda related, but Marvel Tarot also porposed the theory that Hoggoth of Vishanti is a Great Old One like Shuma-Gorath.
The "good guys" trinity of gods having a Lovecraftian Old One among them is some next-level spicy ****.
I can see why Heinberg introduced the Life Force. It's like Hitchcock's use of a McGuffin. It was just a tool to show how Wanda suddenly became this vengeful person in Bendis's Disassembled arc. Wanda and Victor complete the spell, or so they think and off she goes to being the tragedy/stupidity of Bendis's Disaassembled. Anyone who read her arc through the Avengers series prior to Bendis knows she had put all the issues dealing with Tommy and Billy behind. Then they get new life so to speak in Heinberg's New Avengers when their mother is still pretty much M.I.A. in the MU.
Bendis never explained her sudden turn so Heinberg just dealt with it in a quick manner in Children's Crusade and moved on with his story.
It wasn't just Omega Unknown who was trapped in the Other Realm, apparently Tetsuya Nomura was there too and Chthon demanded he give him a new look lol.
It is pretty close to how Chthon would look if he were depicted in a manga or anime,
Also, his horns sort of looked ike Wanda's tiara in terms of outline.
What are your thoughts Wanda outfit choice? In Trial of Magneto she was wearing a more classical outfit and Im not the biggest fan of it.
Im still a very big fan of her All-New outfit and have been basically since it was first released. It's elegant, still has some mystical elements to it and just looks way more modern and not like bathing suit.
But considering it's the perfect time to introduce something new maybe the will just do that. Maybe something more MCU style which looks a bit more armored.
Irregardless there is one thing I feel strongly about. It needs to have a cape. I guess something like a trench coat can also work but anything without these elements is a big no-go to me.
Agree on the costume and design choices. The return to her classic look was symbolic of my problems with Wanda's mischaracterization in TOM. She was the delicate damsel mired down with daddy issues. And almost as a rebuttal with her modern outfit, I loved Orlando's take on Wanda in The Darkhold; she was strong, willful, and took full agency facing down a menacing threat. I love Wada's modern and fashionable take to her design and would like any future costume update to follow a similar approach - in his words, "witchy," dark, luxe, romantic, and sharp.
I wouldn't mind the MCU costume in comics. Just don't make her look like Liz. Even as an aside from the whitewashing stuff, that kind of uncanny valley stuff can be a little off-putting. I'm also just not a fan of the orange hair.
Love is for souls, not bodies.
